Sigh, a few more days till Mrs Cone passes out.
I am really going to miss her and all her other friends.
I will miss the noise they make, running to and fro after band practice, bursting through the band room door, screaming and yelling, "SEEE SAMANTHA YOUR MR CONE!"
I will miss,
Having them scream, SAMULAH! SAMULAH! Making marching videos so that I can see Mrs Cone marching away, seeing them do pumping for dropping mouthcaps, tuners, hearing them laugh as they play a game of Charades...
I will miss, seeing the tears of joy on their faces as they jumped off the bus that brought them back from Singapore Conference Hall, clinching a Silver and running home with pride... to their school, MY home....
I want to hear them, yelling from Compass back to school, "CONE CONE CONE!"
Singing Blue Ridge Saga, or Overture No. 1 or even The Light of Dawn using the syllable CONE.
Awww, it makes my heart melt, to know that these girls, are so bonded.
Together for the past 3 and _ months they have created a bond so strong..that almost nothing can break it. They have become the closest of friends, making music tgether, getting scolded together, being made fun of by the bloody OM who keeps on carrying me and putting me one side when school functions are held and I am just too ugly.
In a way, I am like the band.
How often are they known as the pride of SJC?
How often am I known as the pride of SJC?
Its like, if they need me to block the way to tell cars not to go there, they use me. They put me there to tell people.
Same for the band.
They are only asked to play... when they need to tell VIPs that there is actually a band in this school. Important functions? Hardly asked.........teachers and everyone dont really support SJCCB, but you see my dear readers, do these SJC girls care?
No, they don't.
They don't. I don't either.
As long as they're happy, they're happy.
They enjoy making music, I enjoy just standing there & watching the whole world go by. Awww, I'll miss this bunch of girls, and there is love through them as well, teaching their juniors their knowledge of what they know about music.
It is not easy being in a band...........
You have freaking 75+ people to train & you expect some sort of GWH every year.
Yes, 50% comes from the girls efforts as well, but heyyyyy, the school should at least.. support them. SUPPORT! D:
How do you expect them to aim high if you cant even do the least for them.
Support them.
I love you Mrs Cone, I will miss you and your friends.
But... you will always be in my heart (:
